Shopping on Instagram Just Got Easier
Instagram has announced the launch of three new shopping tools for brands to push products to their audiences this holiday season and beyond. Each shopping feature has been designed to help give brands the edge they need to drive conversion (and ultimately advertise on the platform). Here’s what you need to know:
#1 – Users will now be able to save tags of products they are interested in their ‘shopping collection’.
#2 – A new ‘Shop’ tab on business profiles will allow users to shop directly from Instagram will ease. Currently still in beta.
#3 – Shopping tags embedded in videos are now a feature on Instagram (this one is actually a list of items, not a tag).
