Introducing Instagram Interactive Ads
Instagram is bringing interactivity to Instagram Stories Ads. With an outstanding 500 million people using Instagram Stories daily and 60% of businesses using an interactive feature in their organic stories, it was only a matter of time before Instagram released this feature.
The app will start the roll out with the polling sticker. This is a great opportunity for brands because it allows them to interact with people outside of their followers. In the beta launch of the feature, brands saw great success. In 9 out of 10 beta tests, the brand saw an increase in 3-second video views on their story with an interactive poll.
Now, how to use it – in Ads Manager, select Instagram Stories, upload creative and check the box “Add an interactive poll.” Instagram is suggesting brands to have fun with this feature, to gamify it or use it to run a contest. We suggest hopping on this sooner than later and creating specific content and polls for these ads to have a more successful campaign.
