#KoonsxGoogle // Live-Action Video

Jeff Koons, one of America’s most popular contemporary artists, debuts the first live-action video with Google showcasing his neo-pop aesthetics across social media as #KoonsxGoogle.

The collaboration highlights a new line of phone sets for Google’s, Nexus. Google gives consumers the opportunity to own “live phone cases,” a limited edition set of sculptures that feature the artists popular Gazing Ball Series: Bust, Diana, and Mailbox.

The phone also features an interactive video background that remains fixed on the screen and activates with a tap. Koons enlisted dancers from the New York City Ballet to create the dynamic wallpaper that offers new performances for the device throughout the week.

Koons aesthetics exceeds consumer expectations, and highlights the unity among the art world and technology.
