Instagram has confirmed that it will be releasing it’s TikTok look-a-like feature ‘Reels’ within the next month.
Much like Instagram Stories, Reels, has been built into Instagram itself. It will enable Instagram users to create 15-second, looping video clips, set to music that will have a section within the Explore tab and have a dedicated space on user’s profiles, much like IGTV.
This is exciting for brands to be able to share the ever-popular TikTok style videos on a platform where they already have a following.
