Stories are growing 15x faster than feed-based sharing. They are quickly becoming the number one way users interact with Instagram and the app has taken notice.
Instagram is looking to be rolling out a new option which would enable users to have a direct link back to an Instagram Story. This would be huge for brand awareness and engagement.
With this new feature, you would be able to link using your own or someone else’s link. Great for brands who are concerned that Stories expiring nature, isn’t worth investing in.
The ability to share stories via a link was rolled out on Snapchat early last year but only was accessible to certain accounts.
This option to link back, directly to stories, will be huge for brands who will now be able to link to stories from their newsletters, other social platforms, and websites.
